Why September Deserves Happy Quotes
There’s just something that most of us LOVE about the month… which results in a joyfully lopsided abundance of happy September quotes. Even the deeper poetic quotes still have a lightness and positivity about them.
These are definitely fall quotes. After all, the first day of autumn happens this month. With the equinox, the daylight hours consider becoming cooler and even shorter. But there’s no rush to end the abundant sunshine. And the warm days linger — thankfully not quite as miserable as the likes of deep summer.
And there are apples — along with everything apple-scented and apple-flavored. Don’t you just want to inhale the deliciousness of a beautiful apple-scented candle right NOW?
Let’s not forget cooler evenings perfect for bonfires. Best of all, there are fewer mosquitoes and other insects to annoy us when we decide to partake in outdoor activities.
So to celebrate all of those things, let’s get to those September quotes, shall we?

Of apple peel…”

How Can You Make Use of These Quotes?
When you read quotes that make you think very deeply or strike an emotional chord within you, don’t just click away, go on about your life, and forget what you’ve read. DO something. Here are some suggestions you may like:
Turn quotes into journal prompts
- Choose a set of quotes to use during your daily writing time. By the way, doesn’t this lined journal look cute for autumn?
- Ask yourself questions and write responses. Do you agree with the words? Why or why not? How can you apply the message to your current situation and relationships? What does this quote make you feel or want to do?
The possibilities for quote journaling are endless!
Make pretty things
- Frame printable wall art and scatter it around your home.
- Practice your hand-lettering and create your own quote art to frame.
- Create fun, quote-bedecked things with your Cricut — tumblers, hoodies, etc.
- Write a quote in the center of a blank piece of paper, mind-map what it means to you, and add doodles to decorate the page. Frame it or add it to your planner for inspiration.
Whichever creative pursuits you choose, make them a celebration of the quotes that have meaning to you.
Have adventures
- Take a road trip with your partner to enjoy the crisp beauty of autumn.
- Make a weekend visit to a cider mill with the family.
- Schedule a girls’ weekend at a winery.
- Go on a cool-weather hike to experience the fall colors up close.
As with any adventures — use your imagination, and always remember to be safe. 😉
