The March declutter calendar is here, and it’s time to clear the clutter and refresh your space – without spending hours sorting through every.single.thing. Instead asking you to tackle your whole house at once, this easy monthly decluttering challenge focuses on quick, simple tasks that fit into your daily routine.
We all know clutter has a way of creeping in – on countertops, in drawers, piling up in corners. It makes cleaning harder, creates stress, and can leave you feeling stuck. But you don’t need a massive weekend purge to make a difference. With this printable decluttering checklist, you’ll take on just one small space each day. Ten minutes, one task, noticeable results.
By the end of the month, you’ll have worked through 31 spaces in your home, making everyday life at least a little more manageable. You may also want to check out some of my other declutter tips for even more March decluttering inspiration.

Why Decluttering in March Makes Sense
There’s something about this month that signals a fresh start. Winter is winding down, and soon you’ll be opening the windows, letting in the fresh air, and switching out seasonal items. Getting rid of what you no longer need now makes everything easier – spring cleaning, organizing, and just moving through your home with less clutter in the way.
Clearing clutter really is about creating a home that feels calm and functional. When your space is lighter, your mind is too – which is the perfect mindset as spring approaches. When you organize your home in small, simple steps beginning with this slow declutter style, the process actually feels doable. And I absolutely believe you can do this!
How the March Declutter Calendar Works
Alright, here’s the deal… I like to keep things interesting but simple. This March decluttering calendar isn’t about spending hours tackling one space until you’re completely burned out. That gets old fast.
Instead, this decluttering challenge takes a little-by-little approach, hitting clutter hotspots and a few hidden problem areas that don’t always get attention. You might look at this declutter checklist and think these small daily tasks won’t make a huge impact, but they absolutely can!
Will you declutter every single inch of your home? No. But by the end of the month, you’ll notice clearer surfaces, easier cleaning, and a home that feels lighter and closer to being ready for spring.
Let’s break it down. Below is your March declutter checklist, designed for quick, 10-minute tasks. You could spend longer, but try to stick to the plan – this is meant to be simple, not overwhelming.
Let’s get started!

Hi Julie,
I started to laugh when I came to the line about recycling bottles. I just opened your email a few minutes ago of things to recycle or declutter. I threw out 4 bottles yesterday. These bottles were momentoes from Hawaii & I thought I don’t need these taking up space, I have my memories. I will start the list as I will copy it & check off daily. Thanks.
